On the base of comparatively analysis about various design method to piles cap, a new compound material——steel fiber reinforced concrete is first applied in piles cap. The modeling experiments on 9 three-pile caps and 15 four-pile caps specimen are carried on, the mechanic characteristic of piles cap and obvious effect of adding steel fibers into concrete are analyzed in detail, which provide reliable experimental basis for establishing the loadtransferring model of piles cap.
