PbWO4 and CeF3 which are newly developed inorganic scinti1latr in our country have been studied. Photo-electricity detector systemes which have high γ sensitivity and relative insensitive to neutron and fast time response were assembled by using CeF3 and photomultiplier tube. The ratio of signal-to-noise for γ ray detection can be up to more than 10 times in close distance n,γ commix pulse radiation field by using this detector system.

Azobenzene functionalized polyelectrolytes and polyamphiphiles are novel functional polymers with many interesting characteristics such as the photo-responsive properties based on the photo-induced cis-trans isomerization, the ability to build up ordered supramolecular structure, and the sensitivity to the environmental stimuli.
