Syngeneic deminerolized bone matrix and the mixture of DBM with bone ash or acid-soluble protein extracted from demineralization was implanted into muscle pouch of mice, subsequently, the inhibition of DBM osteoinduction by bone ash or acid-soluble protein was demonstrated with histological and by means of alkaline phosphatase assay.
