In order to guarantee the biggest commercial cotton belt sustaining and healthy, Information project of pest monitoring and prediction is carried out in this commercial cotton base. In this research, we are focusing on automatical data acquisition, data delivery, design and construction of database, data processing and data display and forecast based on GIS. Key technologies and difficulty are explored, which is built the manipulable technologies and management platform for regional monitoring and prediction of cotton bollworm.
