Subjects include COPD patients, medical and nursing staffs. The study was carried out in a medical ward of a hospital in the northern Taiwan. Data were collected from the control group of 30 patients first, then the experimental group of 30 patients. Both groups of patients were matched with the disease severity.

结果：本组共发生功能性排空障碍22例，发生率为4.5%，发生于术后第6--12天共19例，第5天、14天、15天各1例。20例病人经保守治疗20天内痊愈出院，2例因误诊(其中1例再手术，术中未见吻合口梗阻；另1例误诊为胃术后部分肠粘连，吻合口梗阻)延长住院时间亦经保守治疗痊愈出院，胃功能恢复时间平均17.1天。

After a two-week screening period, 18 patients participated in a four-week as-required regimen of 2 mg apomorphine SL, escalated to 3 mg when appropriate after two weeks. Three patients (16.7%) benefited from this treatment modality ( P .05). The nonresponding group of 15 patients continued with a daily regimen of 2 mg apomorphine SL for two weeks followed by 3 mg daily for two weeks. The 3 mg daily regimen was more effective for ED ( P .02) and for each sexual domain scored with the International Index of Erectile Function questionnaire. Adverse events, as reported by three patients (23%) during the 3 mg regimen, were nausea, dizziness, and headache.

Methods: 48 patients with Angle's Class II,division 2 malocclusion, 60 patients with Angle's Class II,division 1 malocclusion, as well as 15 patients with high-angle and 15 patients with low-angle facial skeletal type in Angle's Class II,division 1 malocclusion were separately compared with 50 patients with Angle's Class I who had normal profile by cephalometrics .
