According to the LC-P line of each of insecticide in the mixture and the formula of co-toxicity factor, several expected mortality and the region of additive action (expected mortality±20% expected mortality) were calculated, and according to observed mortality of mixture, the 95% confidence interval was calculated, LC-P line of expected mortality with the region of additive action and LC-P line of observed mortality with the 95% confidence interval were drawn, it was found that there was overlap between the region of additive action and 95% confidence interval and two lines crossed each other when co-toxicity coefficient was more than 100 and the co-toxicity factor was less than 20, which meant there was no significant differences between expected mortality and observed mortality, and that there was on or a few overlap between the region of additive action and 95% confidence interval when co-toxicity coefficient was more than 100 and the co-toxicity factor was more than 20 or co-toxicity coefficient was less than 100 and the co-toxicity factor was less than 20, which meant there was significant differences between expected mortality and observed mortality.

The positive expression both of p14ARF and mtp53 protein in NSCLC tissues were significantly different from that in nonmal lung tissues and tissues adjacent to the cancer (P.01).The expression of p14ARF protein was correlated with pathological degree(P<0.01),but it was uncorrelated with pathological staging,lymphaden metabasis and vessel invasion(P>0.05).The expression of mtp53 protein was correlated with clinical pathology staging,pathological degree and vessel invasion(P<0.05 or P<0.01),but it was uncorrelated with lymphaden metabasis(P>0.05).(2) The coexpression of p14ARF and mtp53 was 36.7%,their consistency was 38.8%,but the expression of p14ARF protein were negatively correlated with the expression of mtp53 protein(r=-0.3553,P<0.001).Conclusion The results suggest that the decrease of p14ARF and the increase of mtp53 protein may play an important role in the genesis and development of NSCLC.

Results: the results showed that extracts of Artemsia dracunculus L. at the dose of 7.5%,3.75%,1.875% 20 ml/kg.w, can cause a signficant increase of WBC (P.05), thymus index, spleen index,(P.05) phagocytic rate and phagocytic index of phagocyte,(P.05) the transformation rate of the spleen lymphocytes,(P.05) and the serum IL-2(P.05),serum hemolysin concentration 50%( P.05)in immunodepressed mice. Conclusions: extracts oil from Artemsia dracunculus L. can significantly enhance the non-specific, cell-mediated and humoral immunological function in immunodepressed mice.

Results The activation of NF-κB, proliferation response, and expression of IL-4 and I L-5 mRNA and protein in T lymphocytes stimulated by PMA were significantly hig her than those of their blank control (P.01), while those indexes of T l ymphocytes stimulated by PMA and PDTC simultaneously were significantly lower th an those stimulated by PMA alone (P.01). The apoptotic index of T lympho cytes stimulated with PMA were significantly lower than that of their blank cont rol (P.01), and the apoptotic index of asthmatic guinea pig T lymphocytes stimulated with PMA and PDTC simultaneously were significantly higher than that stimulated by PMA alone (P.01). The significant positive correlations w ere found between the activation of NF-κB and the proliferation (r=0.64, P.001), and the expression of IL-4 and IL-5 mRNA and protein of T lymph ocytes, respectively (r=0.55-0.68, P.001). There was also signific ant negative correlation between the activation of NF-κB and apoptosis of T l ymphocytes (r=0.62, P.001). Conclusions NF-κB may participate in the signal conduction of PKC regulated proliferation, apoptosis and expression of IL-4 and IL-5 of T lymphocytes in asthma.
