OBJECTIVE:To study the mechanism of hirudin on preventing and curing proliferative vitreoretinopathy,by observing the pathological changes of fundus oculi and eye with ophthalmoscope and light microscope respectively of the experimental traumatic PVR model rabbit and measuring the changes of platelet derived growth factor in corpus vitreum and flash electroretinogram of the model rabbit eye when PVR model rabbit is treated with injection of hirudin into the eye ball.
