Flooding,as a kind of disturbance events,occurred with higher and higherfrequency over the world.To investigate the effects of flooding disturbance ongrassland vegetation and the soil,a comparatively thorough study was conducted onAneurolepidium chinense grassland in Songnen plain,Northeast China.The studysite was located in Sanjiadian National Rangeland in the territory of Da'an city,Jilirprovince,which was partly flooded in 1998.On the study site,Several transectssubjected to different flooding durations and intensities were designed for thecomparative study among them on such aspects as vegetation characteristics,seedbanks,vegetative propagation of rhizomatous plants,distribution patterns ofpopulations,interspecific relations,and physio-chemical properties of soil.Theresults were as follows:(1)Of the functional group composition of the vegetation,with the elongation of the flooding duration or the increase of flooding severity,theratio of hygric and hygro-mesic plants increase,while that of mesic and mesoxericplants decrease,of Therophytes changed unimodally,of Geophytes increased,whileof Hemicryptophytes decreased.

With the increase of the concentration of chloride ions, E_ decreases markedly in the test solutions. Moreover, the buffer capacity and concentration of nonaggressive anions in the test solutions also exerts some effects on the crevice corrosion of Type 304 stainless steel. Furthermore, the cooperative inhibition effect of the environmental factors on crevice corrosion was investigated. The potential of crevice corrosion E_(cc shows a strong dependence on a parameter J, which was called as general environmental factor and defined as the product of concentration of nonaggressive anions, pH, buffer capacity and concentration of chloride ions.

The content of crude fiber in irradiated walnut powder increased, but not significantly. The irradiation had barely change on the contents of the lauric acid and myristic acid, and non-significant effects on the contents of palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, leinoleic acid, arachidic acid and linolenic Acid. However, the irradiation contributed to significant increase in the content of oleic acid with the irradiation dose. When irradiation dose reached 8.0kGy, the content of oleic acid had an increase of 4.3%. Irradiation will not change the sensory index of walnut powder much when irradiation dose is lower than 8.0kGy.

Based on the results simulated by PRECIS (Providing Regional Climates for Impacts Studies), which is developed in the Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research, changes of surface air temperature and precipitation under SRES B2 scenario in South China during 2071~2100 are analyzed. It is shown that, compared to baseline (1961~1990), surface air temperature in 2071~2100 would increase by 2~4℃, precipitation in summer would increase in the north part to 22°N, while the precipitation in winter would decrease in the whole areas of South China. The climate trend of the surface air temperature would be positive, however the climate trend of the precipitation would be negative, the occurrence frequency of extremely high temperature events and extremely heavy precipitation events would increase.
