Effect of Adding Alfalfa Meal and Fat to the Diet of Sows on Their Reproductive Capability and Mechanism Abstract In this experiment, a single-factor and randomized block design was used comprising of 20 sows and 160 sucking piglets to study the effect of adding alfalfa meal and fat to the diet of sows on their reproductive performance. The results are as follows: 1 .The birth weight, daily gain and weaning weight of the piglets were highly significantly improved (P.01) which were born of the sows eating diet with adding of alfalfa meal and fat.
