The hypertension model rats were induced with bi-kidney-bi-clip method, then the focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion rat model was induced by reversible occlusion for a middle cerebral artery with a thread on the stroke prone renovascular hypertensive model rat. While the rats in sham operation group were operated without thread insertion.
