In the paper,the fresh,withered,rocked and fermented leaf fixed by microwave and steam were studied.The results showed that the content of pol yphenols of microwave samples was higher than those of steam samples;and the con tent of amino acids in steam samples was higher than those of microwave samples .There was a slight higher content of soluble sugars in microwave samples compa red with steam samples. The content of chlorophyll of microwave samples was hig her than steaming samples,and there was a small difference of caffeine content b etween microwave and steam samples.There was a little higher content of theafla vins in microwave samples than steam samples.The content of thearubigins in steam samples was higher than microwave samples,and there was no differe nt theabrown between microwave and steam samples.

The study result of microwave irradiation enhanced coagulation process show that the process of irradiating with microwave firstly and then with coagulation is more efficiency to treat oil-containing wastewater than that with coagulation firstly and then with microwave, and when dying wastewater and landfill leachate are treated with microwave irradiation and coagulation process simultaneously, the treatment effects will become better. The study result of microwave irradiation enhanced Fenton oxidation process shows that, no matter what oil-containing wastewater, printing and dying wastewater and landfill leachate, better treatment effect will be achieved with microwave irradiation firstly and then with Fenton oxidation process, with which organic substance and chromaticity can be removed easily.

The temperature rising mechanisms of manganese carbonate fines containing coal by microwave heating were discussed. The results show that, manganese carbonate fines containing coal have good characteristics of microwave heating and self-reduction. At the molar ratios of C atom to O atom as 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 in the mixed materials, the averaged maximum temperature-rising rate of the mixed materials by microwave heating is 140.7 K/min at 1 473 K with the microwave frequency of 2.450 GHz. At the different containing coal ratios and heating temperatures, the value of the dielectric constant is big, 5.5, but that of the permeability is about 1, so the mixed materials belong to dielectric loss. The temperature rising performance depends chiefly upon the electromagnetic performance of materials, whose change is caused primarily by the chemical reaction, the changes of crystal structural , and the changes of defects state. The bigger the containing coal ratio, the better the absorptivity of microwave. At the same containing coal ratio, the higher the heating temperature, the weaker the absorptivity of microwave.

In fluctuating microwave, deposition of diamond films was investigated and some significant results were obtained:1 An appropriate fluctuating microwave can distinctly improve the quality of diamond films, and can grow diamond films almost without microcrystalline graphite.2 Both overlong or overshort bottom duration and overlong or overshort fluctuation period are unfavorable for reduction of non-diamond content. Only moderate ones have optimal effects on it.3 Compared with a smooth microwave, a fluctuating one can reduce the diamond nucleation density slightly.4 In fluctuating microwave, even if a higher CH〓 concentration chosen, diamond films with quality better than that of those deposited at a lower CH〓 concentration and in smooth microwave can be obtained.
