Five models were used to investigate the "Changdong"" s anti-tumor effect: mice S180 sarcoma solid model, mice liver cancer H22 solid model, mice Lewis lung cancer model, as well as human liver cancer QGY and colon cancer LOVO implanted in naked mice; mice liver cancer H22 was also used to evaluate the enhancive effect of "Changdong" when it was co-applied with other anti-tumor agent or with radiotherapy; The "Changdong"" s cytotoxic effect in vitro on such tumors as QGY, LOVO, lung cancer A549, breast cancer MCF-7, as well as mice leukemia P388 was observed through MTT method. And investigate the effect of "Changdong" on proliferation of spleen lymphocyte, on activity of NK cell and on synthesis of IL-2 in mice bearing Lewis lung cancer, respectively. With propidium iodide straining, cell aigptosis and cell circle were analyzed by flow cytometry. Result:"Changdong" has an evident tumor inhibitive effect on mice tumor model as well as human tumor implanted in naked mice with a quantity-effect relationship.

MATERIALS: The donor mice were the male F1 hybridism mice of cleaning inbred strain C57BL/6 and BALB/c mice or the cleaning C57BL/6 mice. The recipient was the cleaning female inbred strain BALB/c mice. These mice were used for establishing leukemia models.

in order to probe into whether glycine supplementation plays an adjusting role in sports performance and immune functions, the authors divided 30 mice randomly into an exhaustive exercising group (e1), glycine supplemented exhaustive exercising group (e2) and a normal resting control group, with 10 mice in each group, supplemented glycine to mice in group e2 and physiological saline to mice in the other two groups, let mice in groups e1 and e2 do an exhaustive swimming exercise 4 weeks later, applied the trace ch50 hemolysis method to analyze supplement activity, applied the mtt method to perform a quantitative analysis on the lymphopoiesis ability of spleen, and thus revealed the following findings: compared with mice in group e1, the time taken by mice in group e2 to swim to an exhausted state is significantly longer (p.05); total supplement activity in blood serum of mice in group e1 is significantly lower than the same of mice in group s (p＜0.01), and total supplement activity in blood serum of mice in group e2 is significantly higher than the same of mice in group e1 (p.01), but still significantly lower than the same of mice in group s (p.05); as observed from the test of the lymphopoiesis ability of spleen, the lymphopoiesis ability of spleen of mice in group e1 is significantly lower than the same of mice in group s, and the lymphopoiesis ability of spleen of mice in group e2 is significantly higher than the same of mice in group e1, but still significantly lower than the same of mice in group s.

Methods The present study has been carried out using NaCMC injected into the mice's abdominal cavity to cause inflammation and induce white blood cell migration,varnishing DNFB to induce mice's DTH,injecting colloid activated carbon suspension into mice's tail vein,with 10% of sheep RBC injected into the abdomen to immunize mice.We observed inhibitory function of Liyankang granule on NaCMC to cause inflammation and induce white blood cell migration,the effect of DNFB on inducing mice's DTH and the effect on clearance speed of carbon particle in mice's blood and serum agglution of mice.
