Each problem-solving process in the knowledge-basedIDSS is an inference process,which is essentially a procedure to match with thepremises involved in the knowledge-base and rule-base and further to bring out theconclusions.Such a procedure is underlaid with the hypothesis of completeinformation.Therefore,the knowledge-based IDSS have drawbacks and limitation indealing with real world problems.
