Ideas for specific costumes, performances or soundscapes often start in my visual work and alternatively costumes or instruments i make end up drawings or prints i make, so my two practices co-exist very closely. The costumes i make are probably the most obvious combination of sound and image where i combine materials such as album covers, drum kit pieces, keyboards, tapes, vinyl, bamboo and screenprints to create costumes that actually work as musical instruments.
