In this paper, three methods for color image retrieval have been presented: hypercomplex SVD image retrieval, combination of hypercomplex convolution filter and hypercomplex SVD image retrieval and hypercomplex matrix correlation image retrieval. We made comparison among these hypercomplex-methods, and compared them with the traditional image retrieval methods. Experiment results showed that the hypercomplex-methods we presented in this paper could well conquer the problems existed in traditional image retrieval methods, and their retrieval results are much better. Meanwhile, this paper presented a new color image quality assessment based on hypercomplex SVD. It is a novel color image quality assessment that can be used as a graphical or a scalar measure to predict the distortion introduced by a wide range of noise sources. It reliably measures the distortion not only within a distortion type at different distortion levels, but also across different distortion types.

提出了超复数奇异值分解检索法，超复数卷积滤波与超复数奇异值分解相结合的检索法以及超复数矩阵相关检索法等三种超复数彩色图像检索方法，在对提出的三种算法进行比较的同时也将其与传统图像检索方法进行了比较，结果证明，超复数彩色图像检索法能较好地克服传统图像检索方法存在的问题，且检索结果更优；同时，本文提出了基于超复数奇异值分解的彩色图像质量客观评估法，这种全新的图形化与数值化相结合的方法不仅能够准确评估出彩色图像的不同失真等级，还能够区分不同的失真类型，从真正意义上实现了彩色图像的质量评估。

In view of the situation that existing search engines cannot follow up the change of webpage and their low precision in information retrieval, the dissertation suggests an idea of personalized information retrieval service, and establish a user model for personalized information retrieval based on user partialness keyword list on client server, which can supply personalized information retrieval service for user with the communications and collaboration of all modules of it.

本文针对利用现有的搜索引擎进行信息检索的过程中存在的查准率低和用户无法跟踪网页信息变化的缺点，提出面向用户的个性化信息检索服务理念，在客户端建立基于关键词表的用户个性化信息检索模型，通过用户个性化信息检索模型内部各功能模块之间的通信协作达到面向用户的个性化主动信息检索服务。

The method provides a source information storage and retrieval system, a target information storage and retrieval system, and a master controller capable of communicating with the source information storage and retrieval system and with the target information storage and retrieval system.

该方法提供源信息存储和检索系统、目标信息存储和检索系统、以及能够与源信息存储和检索系统和目标信息存储和检索系统通信的主控制器。

The main works of this paper include four points as follows:(1) Patent retrieval domain ontology is designed through analyzing the common concepts in searching patent information. And the international patent classification table is expressed using ontology;(2) Design users'interests model from the information actively provided by users and passively provided by system based on users'requirements and historical searching record;(3) Design and implement three patent retrieval modes: quick search, table search, and advance search to meet various users'demands. And combine ontology, user's interest model and the inputed retrieval condition when users search for patent informations. This realizes individualized retrieval which meets the demands of users;(4) When users's search term is inaccurate, the precision will drop markedly and users will receive many disrelated informations.

本文的主要工作包括以下四点：(1)通过分析专利检索的常用概念，设计了专利检索领域本体和国际专利分类表(International Patent Classification，IPC)的本体表示；(2)根据用户的需求以及历史检索记录，从用户主动提供和系统被动学习两方面着手，设计了用户兴趣模型的本体表示；(3)为满足不同层次、不同需求的用户，设计并实现了三种专利检索方式：快速检索、表格检索、高级检索，并将本体、用户兴趣模型、用户输入的检索条件三者相结合，实现满足用户需求的个性化检索；(4)通过设计将检索结果按IPC号分类，由用户自主选择需要浏览的类别来为用户提供个性化服务。

Information retrieval technology is developing in individualization and intelligent direction, individualizing and intelligent information retrieval feedbacks the retrieval results to the users as the retrieval needs of users.

信息检索技术正朝着个性化、智能化的方向发展，个性与智能的信息检索根据用户的检索要求将信息查询结果反馈给用户。

The dissertation is focus on establishing a user model for personalized information retrieval based on user partialness keyword list, including classified dictionary, study module, user behavior monitor module, Internet change detecting module, document analysis and information filtering module, and with the communications and collaboration of these modules, the model obtains on load of user partialness information while in inquiring, retrieving and results filtering. Thus the precision of information retrieval increases, and it can keep up with the change of webpage, and personalized information retrieval service realized.

本文的主要工作是在客户端建立基于用户偏好关键词表的用户个性化信息检索模型，包括分类词典、学习模块、用户行为监测模块、Internet变化检测模块及文档分析与信息过滤模块，并通过各模块之间的通信协作来实现用户查询提问时、信息检索过程中和检索结果过滤时用户偏好信息的加载，来提高检索结果的精度和跟踪网页信息的变化，从而实现个性化信息服务。

In this paper,the storage forms of sound and image information are first discussed.Then,the authors study and analyse methods and technology that can be used in sound and image retrieval,and give classified expositions.Meanwhile,this paper makes comparative research on data models of the multimedia information retrieval system,proposes that the design of MIRS may base on a RDB system,and it can support storage and retrieval of sound and image information by expanding its ability of managing complex objects and multimedia data.

本文首先分析了声音与图像信息的存贮处理，接着分类阐述了声音、图像信息检索可以采用的方法和技术；在此基础上，对多媒体信息检索系统的数据模型进行了比较研究，提出在目前技术条件下，多媒体信息检索系统的设计可采用现有成熟的关系数据库系统作为基础，并在关系模型里增加处理复杂对象与多媒体数据的能力，以实现对声音、图像等多媒信息的存贮与检索。

To implement the personalized retrieval, this system firstly store the user's initial info into the database via the Frame Format, and the user's knowledge repository can be modified automaticly by user's retrieval information and the feedback information of the retrieval result.
