Eight sets of SPOT satellite images, covering nine years from 1994 to 2002 and equivalent to eight months, were used to monitor seasonal changes in the normalized difference vegetation index over the Mt. Methods Marshland areas near high endemic villages of schistosomiasis in the Poyang Lake region were selected. The image in dry seasons was calculated by both Normalized Difference Vegetation Index and Tasseled Cap model. Traditional snail survey was done at the same areas and recorded the geographic position by Geographic Position System. Some cultured lands inside the embankment and water pound in marshland areas were selected as control group. Results The image of pilot areas was classified into 10 classes.

The dielectric (Dk3.21–3.39) and mechanical properties (high storage modulus of 3.0–3.9 GPa and low coefficient of thermal expansion of 37.7– 45.4 ppm) of the P-FBz and BPA-FBz-based polymers were superior or comparable to other polybenzoxazines. 4FP-FBz used for polybenzo- xazine modification by means of formation of benzoxazine hybridation with P-FBz.
