The pigment in colored cotton fibers was extracted by methanol at room temperature. The results of color reactions HCl-Mg reaction, NaBH4 reaction, NaOH reaction, FeCl3 reaction and Pb(Ac2 reaction of the pigment extractive showed that the pigment extracted by methanol was flavone or flavonol with two adjacent hydroxide groups (Table 2, Fig. 1). The results of UV spectral analysis further proved that the pigment extracted by methanol from brown fiber belonged to flavone with two adjacent hydroxide groups in B ring, and that from the green fiber contained not only flavone but also flavonols with two adjacent hydroxide groups both in A ring and B ring and indican replaced a hydroxide group at 3-site of A ring Fig.

The catalysts were prepared by impregnation and precipitation method, and the active carbon,γ-Al2O3, silica and kieselguhr were selected as the carriers of catalyst. the effects of reaction conditions, such as reaction temperature, types of solvents, and types of hydrogen donors were investigated, It was found that the Pd/C catalyst was the best one, and its proper reaction conditions were also obtained as follow: sodium formate as hydrogen donor, water as solvent, reaction temperature of 70℃ and reaction time of 2.5h.

At present,the rate laws and reaction mechanisms of pyrite oxidation,pyrite and chalcopyrite formation,uraninite and magnetite dissolution in aqueous solutions are mainly studied,and it is discovered that (1)oxidation rate of pyrite controlled by surface reaction assume fractional dependence on Fe3+ and O2 molalities in acid solutions;(2)Pyrite cannot nucleate directly from solutions below 300 ℃,it can only form initially through sulfidation of a FeS precursor. The rate equation of reaction between FeS and H2S to form pyrite is of the second order;(3)Chalcopyrite is formed by reactions of pyrrhotite or pyrite with Cu2+,the former proceeds via a series of mediate metastable phases of Cu-Fe sulfide,whereas the rate equation of the latter is apparently of the first order which is controlled by surface reaction;(4)The nonlinear behavior of magnetite dissolution at acid pH can be represented by a shrinking core model coupling with surface reaction and diffusion transport.

A compound 2-(3-hydroxyphenyl)[60] fullerene pyrrolidine was synthesized by the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of the fullerene(C60) and azomethine ylide (prepared from glycine and 3-hydroxybenzaldehyde). The product was characterized by UV-Vis,1H-NMR ,FT-IR and MS. The reaction conditions affecting the yields of product were investigated and the optimum reaction conditions with product yield 75%(based on consumed C60) were:molar ratio of C60∶3-hydroxybenzaldehyde:glycine 1∶3∶6,reaction temperature 95℃,reaction time 18h.
