Materials and Methods:MRI findings of 183 cases with cranial nerve tumors including 135 acoustic nerve tumors,35 tregemimal nerve tumors, 3 olfactory nerve tumors, 3 optic nerve tumors, 3 hypoglossal nerve tumors, 2 vagus nerve tumors, 1 facial nerve tumor and 1 glossopharyngeal nerve tumor verified by operation and pathology were analyzed. Results: Of the cranial nerve tumors,177 were benign tumors,6 were malignant tumors.

脑神经肿瘤发生在特定部位，大部分有特征性MRI表现：嗅神经肿瘤多位于颅前窝，呈分叶状；视神经肿瘤多有神经束增粗；三叉神经肿瘤骑跨颅中、后窝生长，呈哑铃状；听神经肿瘤为第Ⅶ、Ⅷ神经束增粗，并与桥小脑角区肿瘤相连；面神经肿瘤位于乳头内，形态不规则；舌咽、迷走、舌下神经肿瘤位于颈静脉孔区，往往伴有颈静脉孔扩大。

Results:(1) The two nerves were found anatomically related at 5～10 mm and 26～30 mm respectively following hypoglossal nerve entering the muscle.(2)The diameter of the two nerves were observed to match well with each other or with the main branches at 10 mm following the branching of hypoglossal nerve.(3) At 6～10 mm prior to the branching of hypoglossal nerve there was a branch going to the lingual muscles and plexiform of lingual nerve.

结果：(1)舌下神经与舌神经之间有二个恒定的联系部位，即舌下神经分支进入舌肌后最初5～10 mm处和26～30mm处；(2)舌下神经与舌神经最佳吻接部位，我们认为应在舌下神经主干分叉后10 mm左右；神经直径测量也发现神经直径与舌神经主干和分支直径较为匹配，且此区有利解剖，便于神经吻合；(3)舌下神经分叉之前，在神经干上方距分叉约6～10 mm处有一较固定分支，参与分布舌肌并与舌神经呈丛状结构。

Medullary slices of neonatal Sprague-Dawley rats, including hypoglossal nerve root and mNRF, were made according to Suzue's method. Simultaneous recordings of the respiratory rhythmic discharge activity in hypoglossal nerve root with suction electrode and the respiratory neuronal discharge in the mNRF with whole cell patch clamp were performed on the brainstem slice in vitro .
