Methods: Mesenchymal stem cells were isolated from human term placenta by digestion of collagenase Ⅱ and their unique growth characteristic of attaching to the wall of cell culture flask. The proliferation ability was detected by living cell number counting and propidium iodide staining. Their surface markers were detected by flow cytometry.
