During the 26th Antarctic expedition to study deep ice core drilling team will carry out the preparatory work, in the Kunlun station to build a deep ice core drilling site, while continuing to carry out the Zhongshan Station-Dome A cross-section of glaciology observations, Dome A site measurement of the Hong Kong Observatory and astronomical observations and mapping study visits, and will complete the second phase of the Kunlun station, including the installation and commissioning of sewage treatment and other equipment.

第26次南极考察期间，考察队员将进行深冰芯钻探的前期准备工作，在昆仑站构筑深冰芯钻探的场地，同时继续开展中山站-Dome A断面的冰川学观测、Dome A天文台址测量和天文观测以及测绘学考察，并将完成昆仑站的二期工程，包括安装调试污水处理等设备。

The team members were expected to continue their journey to Kunlun Station, some 7000m southeast of Dome A. They will conduct research in multiple scientific fields, including glaciology, astronomy, mapology and geophysics.
