The filtration performance of jy discal filters and arkal discal filters are compared.based on different filtering accuracy,micron rating(20,55,100,200 μm),and different dosages of chemicals added to the influent,the parameter differences such as turbidity,suspended solids content,fpi value,head loss,filtration cycle,flux,backwash,etc.are compared and studied.the results show that these two kinds of filters have similar performance.

A comparison is made between the performance of harmonic analysis method and that of Blackman window method through the simulated experiments, and in the condition of same order of filters, the stop-band attenuation of filters designed by this method is 5~7 dB more than that of filters designed with Blackman window in the range of different frequencies.
