In this paper, numerical computations are made on the scattering of ultrasonic pulse waves with different centroid frequencies of 100 kHz,500 kHz and 1 MHz in fluid-filled finite-length perforation by using Finite Element Method,where three kinds of models of perforation bottom, I.E., flat bottom, stepped bottom and acuminated bottom,are assumed to simulate the practical bottoms of perforation.

By means of FEM simulation and application of the equivalent continuum model and the discrete fissure model, we can conclude that the larger density of fissure, the more identical the two methods will be. Based on this conclusion and characteristic of fissured rocks, a new model called the entity mixed model is suggested. Many examples given in the thesis demonstrate the reliability, effectivity and efficiency of this model.
