This approach uses multiple Kalman filters, and each of Kalman filter is designed based on a specific hypothesis for detecting specific sensors fault, and then uses WSSR (Weighted Sum of Squared Residual) to deal with Kalman filter residuals, and residual signals are compared with threshold in order to make fault detection decisions. The microfracturing process of Jinping marble specimen in Sichuan province under uniaxial compression is recorded by using the testing scheme. Quantitatively investigated the propagation and coalescent of cracks at meso-scale with digital technology, the basic geometric information of rock microcracks such as area, angle, length, width, perimeter, are obtained from binary images after segmentation. The failure mechanism of specimen under uniaxial compression with the quantitative information is studied from macro/micro scopic perspective. The result shows that during the damage of the specimen the distribution of microcracks in the whole specimen are still subjected to exponential distribution with some microcracks concentrated in certain regions.

Beased on the researches on thixotropic mechanism and thixotropy fluid property, hysteresis loop curve, structure failure and viscosity build-up curve as well as shear stress decrement curve for one type oil are first present in this paper. According to the theoretical researches and testing results, a novel thixotropy equation with τ=τ_∞e~ pattern, which is of hi-accuracy, few parameter and simplicity, is developed. Considering the influence of various parameters on rheological behaviour, depressant adding condition is optimized and experimental evaluation on BEM-5P is conducted, which further unrip its mechanism on the Huabei crude. A corresponding viable pipe transportion programmel is also recommended.
