This case report was a 6 year-old girl with Crouzon syndrome presenting midface severe retrusion and facial asymmetry.

本病例报告为患有库隆氏症候群之5岁9个月女孩，其中脸部严重发育不足，接受上颚骨生成牵引术治疗。

Among them,5 were＜2 years old,6 with craniofacial deformity:small mandible andmandibular retrusion(5 cases),transverse facial cleft(1 case),Down's syndrome(2 cases),cerebral palsy(2 cases),chronic bronchitis(3 cases)and mucopolysaccharidoses(1 case).Nineteen patients with symptoms of snoring, mouth breathing,were diagnosised as OSAHS by polysemnographyand treated by tonsillectomy andadenoidectomy in hospital.All patients were closely followed-up.

Meanwhile we measured the skeletal classⅢocclusion and mandibular retrusion patients by traditional cephalometric analysis and the Delaire cephalometric analysis. We discovered the Delaire cephalometric analysis was more accurately and conveniently. This method can help us to understand the cranio-maxillo-facial structure compensatory mechanism of the skeletal classⅢocclusion and mandibular retrusion patients, which can provide reference for diagnosis, project and orthodontic treatment.

同时，传统头影测量方法与Delaire头影测量分析法对骨性Ⅲ类与青少年下颌后缩畸形行测量，发现Delaire头影测量分析法更直观、定量，利于明确骨性Ⅲ类错牙合与青少年下颌后缩畸形颅面骨骼结构补偿机制，更易辅助正畸诊断、设计，也为相应的临床治疗方法改良提供依据。

Results A few stained neurons were observed at the inferior salivatory nucleus and dorsal nucleus of vagus nerve and nerve fibers at double sides, while the superior salivatory nucleus was not marked. The labeled neurons and fibers at the both side were found in the facial nucleus, nucleus ambiguous and motor trigeminal nucleus.
