In this contribution novel acid-base sulfonated poly(phthalazinone ether nitrile ketone)s membranes are introduced.The membranes are composed of SPPENKs as the acidic compounds,and polyetherimide as the basic compounds,furthermore,redissolving SPPENKs and PEI in N-methylpyrrolidone then cast directly onto clean glass substrates in dust free environment at 60℃ aiming at enhancing membrane toughness and other relative properties.
