RESULTS: Out of 160 patients, enucleation was done in one eye in 85 and evisceration was done in one eye in 75 during the study period. The mean age of patients was 36.4 years with a range of 6 months to 90 years.

AbstractAIM: To investigate clinical effects and comprehension of small incision extracapsular enucleation combined with intraocular lens implantation for the treatment of cataract.

目的：探讨白内障小切口囊外摘出人工晶状体植入术的临床效果和体会。

METHODS: Two hundred and ninetyone cases (335 eyes) underwent small incision extracapsular enucleation combined with intraocular lens implantation, and the suitability of the surgery and treatment effects were analyzed.
