It was shown from the results that emulsifier TP-Ⅴ which was prepared by PEG 4000 reacted with TME, in the molar ratio of TME to PEG 2:1, at about 110℃ for 1 h, catalyzed by boron trifluoride diethyl etherate, has a very good emulsifying impact for TME.
