The current research points out that for the CFCHS joints the linear extrapolation method can be used for chords,whereas the quadratic extrapolation method must be used for braces.The hot spot stress distributions on the CFCHS joints tend to be more uniform and their SCFs become smaller significantly,compared with the CHS joints.Axial tension on the brace puts the CFCHS joints at a disadvantage,which produces higher SCFs than axial compression.The effects of nondimensional geometric parameters β,τ and γ on SCFs of the chords of the CFCHS joints are basically the same as those of the CHS joints,but for the braces,there is a bit difference in the effects of parameters β,τ and γ between the two kinds of joints.Concrete has the function of improving the CFCHS joint rigidity and then decreasing SCFs which is expected to increase fatigue strength,but concrete strength grade does not exert significant influence on SCFs.

The results showed that in the four rehabilitated forests, the previous month's soil moisture content had stronger effects on the current month's soil moisture content in 0-40 cm and 20-40 cm layers, but had lesser effects on that in 0-10 cm layer. In this study, the aged watermelon seeds were selected as material, soaked by different concentrations of salicylic acid, calcium nitrate and gibberellic acid (GA3), to study the effects on germination rate, related physiological and biochemical indexes of aged watermelon seeds. The results show that the activity of aged watermelon seeds was obviously increased after soaking, and the best treatment to promote germination was Ca(NO3)210mmol/L. Besides, conductivity and soluble sugar content of seeds lixivium, and MDA content of seeds were decreased obviously after treated by SA, Ca(NO3)2 and GA3, and SA treatment had the best obvious effects.

This project studies the scale-dependent deformation behavior of the metal matrix composite, the void nucleation and void growth mechanisms at the micron/submicron scale. The main results are:(1) In prophase, growth and coalescence of the void embedded in the graded matrix are analyzed in detailed;(2) Based on the infinite solid model containing a micro-void, coupling effects of the void shape and the void size on the void growth are studied carefully, the results show that it seems to exist a critical equivalent void radius, which is associated with the material length. When radius of a microvoid is close to or smaller than the critical void radius, the micro-void growth rate is essentially eliminated;(3) The coupling effects of the particle shape and size on the mesoscopic stress fields within the particle and matrix are also investigated by introducing the conception of inclusion/matrix interfacial energy. The results show that the stress concentration factors within the particle and on the matrix/particle interface are also strongly size-dependent,so the void nucleation mechanism is size-dependent.(4) By employing a specific orthogonal curve coordinate frame and a 'kernel function' conception, a 'unified method'solving the spheriodal and spherical void problems is suggested; by this unified method, size-dependent plastic potentials of the porous materials containing the spheriodal or spherical voids are obtained, which extend the traditional Gurson model for the spherical void and GLD model for the spheriodal voids to the micron scale.(5) Based on the RVE model containing the spheriodal or spherical particles, the influences of the particle shape and size on the size-dependent mechanical behavior of metal matrix composite are studied.
