In order to search condign planting FD alfalfa varieties in transitional areas of farming and pasturing in north, analyzed and compared with productive performance including growing periods、survival rate in winter、plant height、fresh/dry ratio、regrowth character、photosynthetic character、total yield and nutritive content etc of eight different FD alfalfa varieties coming from different countries.
