Small intestinal biopsies showed subepithelial collagen deposition with varying degrees of villous atrophy and varying numbers of intraepithelial lymphocytes. Four patients had previous biopsies showing enteropathic changes without collagen deposition. Seven cases were associated with collagenous colitis and 1 also had features of lymphocytic colitis. Three patients also had collagen deposition in gastric biopsies. One case was associated with lymphocytic gastritis. Celiac disease (CD, gluten-sensitive enteropathy) was documented in 4 patients. Five patients made a clinical improvement with combinations of a gluten-free diet and immunosuppressive therapy. Two patients died of complications of malnutrition and 1 of another illness. Clonal T-cell populations were identified in 5 of 6 cases tested. Four of these patients improved clinically after treatment but 1 has died. Collagenous sprue evolved on a background of CD in 4 cases. There was no history of CD in others and these cases may be the result of a biologic insult other than gluten sensitivity.

Objective:to investigate the effect of damage control surgeryin the theatment ofacute mesenteric ischemia.methods: a retrospective analysis was made on clinical data of eight cases with ami treated by dcs from june 2006 to december 2007.results: operations were immediately performed in all eight patients with ami after final diagnosis,including six cases treated with different limitation of enterotomy; five with temporary abdominal closure and exteriorization of intestine,three with abdominal closure of venous nutrition transfusion container; seven with two-stage operation in different means.five cases survived or improved three died, one of which died two months after discharge due to short bowel syndrome.conclusion:it is very difficult to treat the ami patients owing to the restriction of technology and equipment.

Results Diagnosis of sebaceous carcinoma demanded immunohistochemistry, and rare parotid sebaceous carcinoma was still distinguished with clear cell carcinoma, grume epidermis carcinoma and acinic cell carcinoma in pathology. By Follow-up of the all patients over 5 years, survival rate for 5 years was 71.4%(20/28), primary focus recurrence in 10 cases, in which, neck lymph node metastasis was discovered in 3 cases, and one was performed operation once again.
