Because of lack of abstraction at the stage of requirement analysis, the traditional Management Information systems of Engineering Designing Project are not suitable to dynamic recomposition of business management process. This paper will combine Workflow Technologies with Management Workflow System of Engineering Designing Project. By decomposing work into good-definitioned tasks and roles and executing and monitoring them according to rules and processes, we can boost efficiency, reduce cost, enhance level of business management of engineering design department.
