Based on the summation of numerical solutions of the free water surface seepage flow, a new concept called Regional Identification Function is put forward. It is pointed out that the reason why the initial flow method is unstable is that the RIF is discontinuous. Linearization continuity method for the RIF is suggested and then a revised initial flow method is presented.

The instability originated in the upper R_B-like convection zone develops to larger region with the increase of Grashof number, and the number of non-axi-symmetric circulations decreases. When Grashof number exceeds another critical value, cooling air may invade the cavity and flow toward the shroud, the circulations decrease to one pair occupying the whole cavity in radial, thus these two zones are merged into one. The core structures in the cavity rotate against the disks, while the structures keep no change at the case of periodic oscillatory flow. With the Grashof number rises, the flow undergoes stable, periodic, periodic with cool air invading, quasi-periodic and ultimately to chaos.

For gas flow past cylinder, the characters of flow field in different Mach number and Knudsen number condition were investigated, and especially for low Knudsen number cases, the results were compared with calculating results of Euler's equation. It showed that they are correspondent by comparing the characters of bow shock and wake. The convergence rates of different high resolution and implicit schemes were also investigated. The convergence behavior of the implicit WENO scheme developed in this paper is better than others. For gas flow past NACA 0012 airfoil, the calculating results were compared with results of experiment. It showed that the results of WENO scheme are of higher accuracy for the case with angle of attack.

Based on the BISQ model, we studied the elastic wave speed in two-phase porous isotropic media and its relation with Biot-flow and squirt-flow. The Green function is obtained for a point load in the two-phase porous isotropic media using the decomposition of the field potencial and the properties of Delta function. The expression and effects of squirt-flow in BISQ-Green function are discussed.
