To design a basic evaluation model of attribute data in GIS, using various theory of data quality, this paper makes a deep analysis of quality control and evaluation of attribute data and brings forward a effective measure against error in attribute data. A good method is presented to improve precision of attribute data in this paper.

The study developed a integrated mapping application in C/S(client/server) developing module using the integrated technology of PowerBuilder and Mapinfo, and realized the integrated management of the texts and maps of the forestry second kind survey data.
