Of key interest was the trends of corrosion potential on initial period. Corrosion potential–time measurements were undertaken after the samples exposed to the air for 24 h were polarized anodically and cathodically in acetic acid solution. Their corrosion inhibition action of stainless steel in hydrofluoric acid is studied by adsorption theory and electrochemical polarization-curve method,the mechanism of corrosion inhibition action is analyzed.the result shows that the single molecule layer of these compounds is adsorbed on the surface of the stainless steel and followed Langmuir isothermal equation. the adsorption procedure of propiolic alcohol is endothermic reaction, the adsorption ability and corrosion inhibition efficiency increased when temperature rised. 实验结果表明：这几种物质在不锈钢表面产生单分子层吸附，并且满足Langmuir吸附规律，丙炔醇的吸附过程为吸热反应，随着温度的升高，吸附能力增强，缓蚀率升高；其它三种化合物的吸附过程均为放热反应，温度升高，吸附能力下降，缓蚀率降低。

Pit corrosion is a main kind of localized corrosion. The process of forming pit corrosion includes three stages-formation of pit source, development of pit cave and forming occluded corrosion cell. Molybdate series inhibitors can be inhibitive, for it can control three stages of pit development. First, there is apparent synergistic effect between molybdate and phosphate, which can suppress formation of pit source. Second, there is apparent passivation of molybdate inhibitor according to electrochemistry analysis, which let oxidation film in unoccluded cave repassivate.

Corrosion inhibitor JC-6 selected out of 9 commercial chemicals added at dosage 1.5% decreased the corrosion rate of 13Cr-L-80 coupled with N-80 at 60℃ to 0.012 and 0.165 mm/a respectively; JC-6 and PA in various combinations could decrease the corrosion rate further and in mass ratio 9:1 (notated as JCP-6) at dosage of 1.5% could decrease the corrosion rate of the two metals at 70℃ to 0.013 and 0.069 mm/a respectively.
