In the dry sliding experiments of composites, friction coefficients decreased with the increase of load. Plastic deformation happened in the worn surface where Fe element was found, so PAM micro-fiber supported part of the load and prevented the further deformation. On the condition of high speed and high load, the worn surface of PAM1/nylon 6 composites was nearly melted and formed comparative uniform transfer on the surface of steel, which accounted for the rather low wear mass loss. The infrared analysis showed that the a small quantity of transition of crystal form from α into γ of nylon and its composites happened during the friction because of the high temperature and strong sheering strength.

The results show that the CNTs are dispersed effectively by bell jar immersing precast block casting. The maximal tensile strength and the elongation of the AZ31/CNTs composites are enhanced by 41.3% and 119.4%, respectively, and the elastic modulus and micro-hardness are also raised by 67.8% and 66.9%, respectively, when compared with those of the as-cast AZ31 Mg alloys. The CNTs can greatly refine the grains of the composites, playing a good role in reinforcing the matrixes of AZ31 Mg alloy. The fracture sections of the composites mainly consist of dimples and prisms, which demonstrates quasicleavage fracture modes.

The results show that: processing aids which mainly consist of unsaturated aromatic hydrocarbon and aliphatic hydrocarbon resin are able to improve the dispersion of the wood flour in PVC matrix, and amend the interfacial compatibilities between PVC matrix and wood flour, and enhance the mechanical and processing properties of PVC/ wood flour composites; Processing aids which mainly consist of calcium soap and saturated fatty acid amide mixture, as well as fatty alcohol and fatty acid ester mixture, are also able to improve the dispersion of the wood flour in PVC matrix and enhance the processing property of the composites, but when the use amount is big, they have adverse effects on mechanical properties of the composites.
