The results indicated that the composite films exhibited much improved gas sensing performance.The phthalocyanine and its a-Fe2O3 embedded nano-particulate LB filmswere prepared by Langmuir-Blodgett technique. The films were characterized by AFM, UV-Vis and FT-IR spectra. The results indicated that the embedded LB films were composed of a-Fe2O3 nanoparticles and isopropoxyphthalocyanine molecules. The gas sensitivity of such prepared composite LB films was greatly improved. The film could detect 5ppm of propyl alcohol at room temperature. The composite films could be considered as gas-sensors for alcohols.

Plate and λ/2 plate were placed inside the Nd∶YVO4KTP green laser cavity with angle 90°between their fast axis.The composite plate composed of HWP,QWP and KTP has the function of QWP.The composite plate with Nd∶YVO4 can effectively suppress the coupling of polarized modes,and multi-longitudinal-mode lownoise green laser was obtained.Since the composite plate counteracted the phase shift induced by temperature sensitivity of quartz plate,the green laser operated with lownoise reliability in different output power and different operation temperature.The threelongitudinalmode, the noise of less than 0.5% and output power stability of less then 1% for 12 hour are obtained in the green laser.

The composite scattering between dielectric sea surface and a conducting plate above it is calculated by using Physical Optical method and reciprocity theorem. Meanwhile, the dependence of the plate size on the composite scattering field is considered. The Doppler spectrum and the chaotic characteristic for the time series of composite scattering field are analyzed. Finally, artificial neural networks and wavelet analysis are introduced into the study of the sea clutter to realize the purpose of target detection, the factors which affect the detection of the target are discussed and the solutions to these problems are given.

Test and analytical studies indicated that (1) connection moment strengths in positive bending were similar but in negative bending were different on the order of 0.72 and 0.6 percent compared to the bare steel beam subassembly so that the self-centering behavior of the subassemblies with the composite concrete slab was not observed,(2) force-transferring mechanism in the connection proposed was able to predict the force-deformation relationship of the subassembly with the composite concrete slab, and (3) a general-purpose nonlinear finite element analysis program ABAQUS was used to perform the correlation study on the subassemblies with and without composite concrete slab.

Dehydration process based on hollow fiber composite membrane is one of the crucial and effective methods to remove water vapor from industrial gases such as light hydrocarbon, compressed air, natural gas and so on. Dehydration of propylene with VP method was studied in the thesis. We prepared the PVA/PS、CS/PS and PVA-CS/PS hollow fiber composite membranes by spread method. The permeation behavior of water vapor among coagulable light hydrocarbons through composite membranes and asymmetric membrane was researched by vapor permeation method. Also a differential mathematical model was established which can describe dehydration of gas phase propylene.

The composite powders consisted of Si, Ni, Ag and a series of Si-Ni alloys. The SEM and TEM results showed that the composite powder consisted of clusters with space and network structures.
