The warehouseman shall not be liable for loss, damage or delay caused by Acts of God, war, civil or military authority, insurrection, riot, strikes, labor disputes, fire, sprinkler leakage, flood, wind, storm, vermin, change of temperature, variations in weights, or for loss in weight by reason of defective or insufficient containers, unless such loss, damage or delay is caused by the failure of the warehouseman to exercise the ordinary care and diligence required by law.
