In this thesis, we studies four key problem of 3G base station array antenna for mobile communication, designed radiation units, array synthesis, feeding network and antenna measurements.

The joint spatio-temporal correlation properties at the BS and the MS are quite different. When the PASs at the BS and the MS are independent, the spatial correlation at the BS is independent on the temporal correlation, but this is not true for the spatial correlation at the MS.
