Methods Five cases of advanced juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma invading skull base were treated via transmaxillary approach combined with Weber-Ferguson incision for surgical removal of the tumors.

We report a young male patient who experienced seizure after local injection of 3mL 2% lidocaine with epinephrine 1:200,000 around a recurrent nasal angiofibroma. After receiving 100% oxygen via mask and thiamylal sodium, the patient had no residual neurologic sequelae.

Methods: The clinical data about 3 female cases of tuberous sclerosis accompanying bilateral and multiple renal angiomyolipomas were reported. Their age ranged 16-26 years. All the cases had typical facial angiofibroma and mental retardation. Of them, 2 were admitted to hospital for severe abdominal distending pain and shock, 1 was admitted to hospital for abdominal distention and epilepsy.
