Objective To evaluate the change of pulmonary function after esophagectomy and esophagogastric anastomosis follwing two different ways for patients with esophageal carcinoma by reviewing 45 cases.

Methods 54 patients with esophageal and cardia cancer were underwent resection with Gambee＇s single layer lip-shaped anastomosis, including esophagogastrostomy in 43 cases and esophagojejunostomy in 11 cases.

54例食管癌、贲门癌患者采用食管胃、空肠唇状单层Gambee法吻合，食管胃吻合43例，食管空肠吻合11例。

Result: No operation deducing death and no anastomosis fistular occur and the 1, 3, and 5-year survival rates were 73.68%, 56.63%, and 22.86% respectively.

结果：全组无手术死亡及吻合口漏发生。随访1、3、5年生存率分别为73.68％、52.63％和22.86％。

Methods The gastral wedge of a relatively small width was rotated to the middle of the posterior wall of gastral wedge,the gastroduodenal anastomosis is approximated in Billroth Ⅰ method.175 consecutive patients were treated in this method.Results Less postoperative complications were recorded.

Surgical therapy is the first choice for the recurrent stomal ulcer with complications and BAO,MAO obviously higher,stomal resection and gastrojejunal Roux-en-y anastomosis are effective methods to treat the stomal ulcer,and conservative treatment should be chosen primarily for the patients with slightly elevated BAO,MAO.
