The adsorption isotherms of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfonate onto wool fiber surface which experienced clean processing from an acid aqueous solution(pH3.0～3.5) by conductance method at 366K(93℃) were studied, so did the isotherms of wool adsorbing SDS from different aqueous solutions which containing various auxiliaries(containing glycol/benzalcohol and zinc sulfate).

The absorrption of benzoid compound by activated carbon fiber was studied. In theexperiment, the influence of the rate of filtration to the purification effeciency was researched. On the basis of summarizing the principle, advantage and recent research on watertreatment by the activated carbon fiber, adsorption performance of three activated carbons(fibrous, granulose, and powdery) were studied.

In this work, the effects of different metal ions loaded onto activated carbon on the adsorption of benzothiophene were investigated.

Results showed that the best separation factor of sulfides amounted to 1.7 by ZSM-5 membranes loaded with 0.2 mol/L Ag+ solution. The separation performance of the membranes was the best when activated 450℃. Benzothiophene showed a strong competitive adsorption effect to thiophene.
