With hydroponic culture, we studied the effects of Zn(superscript 2+) on dry matter and zinc accumulation in wheat seedlings using Chang 5864 as the experimental material. In this paper, Zn(superscript 2+) concentration in cultivating solution was 30 and 60 mgL^(-1), respectively, and 0 mgL^(-1) Zn was set as control. Seedling root and plumule were gathered every day from 4 d to 13 d after cultivation. We measured dry matter weight, and analyzed zinc concentration by atomic absorption spectrometry. The results showed that the dry matter accumulation in seedling root and plumule were all significantly improved under Zn treatment.

The plastic deformation induced due to cyclic rotation of principal stress axes alone can be in the same magnitude as that due to shear with fixed principal stress axes. 2 The volumetric strain due to shearing of cyclic rotation of principal stress axes is found to be composed of a reversible dilatancy component and an irreversible dilatancy component. The former is characterized by its reversibility and is independent of past shear history, the latter by its irreversibility increases with the increase of cycle number yet its increase rate decreases with its accumulation. 3 The obvious non-coaxiality between directions of the principal stresses and principal strain increments is found and its degree depends largely on the change of shear stress component. 4 The intermediate principal stress has considerable effects on the deformation behavior of sands in the condition of cyclic rotation of principal stress axes. The accumulation rate of the irreversible dilatancy component increases with the increase of the intermediate principal stress parameter.

In order to study the regularity of soil salt accumulation in plough layer caused by groundwater in the Yellow River Delta, GIS and the fundamentals and methods of geostatistics were applied to regionalize the study area based on the spatial distribution pattern of groundwater table and the criteria of critical water table. And for each sub-region, quantitative analysis was performed between groundwater mineralization and soil salt accumulation in plough layer at the spatial scale.

It is thought that the channel bay line evolution processes can be divided into four stages. The first stage is soon of the sea level stable when the bayhead mountines are eroded and developed abrasion geomorphy and the productive materials were transport into the bay deposition by the tidal current and wave current and were reworked into gravel dams. The second stage is characterized by the fluvial output sediments and eroded sediments mixed deposition in channel bay and developed marine accumulation plain and sand riges in the plain under the wave reworked. The third stage developed clay silt marine accumulation plain under the action of the channel current and the wave action is very limited. The fourth stage is marked by human being reclaim which result in the channel bay filled and evoluted into a strait arce coast.

Based on predecessor\'s research results, formation condition of oil-gas reservoirs of S_(2+3) oil layer in westslope region was comprehensively and systematicaly studied, through using comprehensively seismics,logging, well logging, core, analysis assay data and paleontology data and adopting the latest theories andtechniques and methods of structural geology, sequence stratigraphy, sedimentography, petroleum geology,and oil-gas accumulation dynamics, etc. Main controlled factors, periods and models of oil-gasaccumulation and distribution were identified, favorable exploration areas were forecasted, throughdissecting typical oil-gas reservoirs and analyzing oil-gas accumulation mechanism and process.

At the experimental concentrations tested (00 u.g I/1), selenite and selenate did not significantly affect the accumulation of either mercury species by the green mussels. In contrast, selenomethionine significantly inhibited the uptake of MeHg and enhanced the uptake of Hgy the mussels, but it did not affect the assimilation from the ingested diatoms. We further examined the influence of tissue body burden of Se in the green mussels following pre-exposure to selenite and selenomethionine on the accumulation of Hg2 and MeHg from the dietary and aqueous phases.
