目的 探讨80岁以上老年人脑梗死的临床特点、护理及预后。方法取2004～2006年收治的50例80岁以上脑梗死患者（其中最大者93岁），均用头颅mri或ct证实。结果 50例中多数为多病灶、大面积和伴有并发症，治疗后好转38例、死亡11例。结论 80岁以上老年人患脑梗死后症状重、并发症多、死亡率高。
