Results are as followed:1 Exposure of HELF cells to BP caused c-Jun activation,and increased the activity of MAPK,PI-3K,p53 and cyclin D1 pathway.2 BP-induced c-Jun activation was inhibited by dominant negative mutants of extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase or c-Jun NH_2-terminal kinase,but not by p38,impling that JNK and ERK pathways medicate c-Jun activation induced by BP.3 Overexpression of dominant-negative mutants PI-3K and Akt potently blocked phosphorylations of c-Jun and ERK,but not JNK in response to BP,suggesting that PI-3K/Akt pathway positively regulates BP-induced c-Jun activation through ERK.4 Inhibition of p53 by its chemical or molecular inhibitor markedly increased the phosphorylation levels of c-Jun,Akt and ERK upon BP stimulation,indicating that p53 negatively medicates BP-induced c-Jun activation through PI-3K/Akt/ERK pathway.5 The cell lines expressed TAM67 exhibits no significant affecting normal cell growth properties.6 TAM67 was able to significantly block G_1-S transition and subsequent cell proliferation,suggesting that c-Jun is essential for cell cycle alternations elicited by BP.7 Overexpression of TAM67 impaired BP-induced cyclin D1 activation,decreasing expression of E2F1 and pRb,indicating that c-Jun participates in the modulation of BP-induced activation of cyclin D1/pRb/E2F1 pathway.8 Stably expression of TAM67 led to the increases in the expression levels of p53 and p21,elevating phosphorylation level of p53,clearly indicating that c-Jun regulates p53/p21 pathway activation induced by BRCollectively,PI3K/Akt/ERK pathway mediated BP-induced c-Jun activation through p53-dependent mechanism.

Seven polyimides were synthesized and their films were uniaxially stretched to observe the variation in their in-plane birefringence. The preload force and isothermal temperature were the two controlled factors that were chosen on the basis of the lowest stretchable force and lowest temperature for each PI structure. In the first part of this thesis, Stress relaxation method set up in the software of DMA was used to perform the aromatic and aliphalic (D2192-BAPP) PI film stretching process. To study the optical anisotropies property to the light leakage from the crossed polarizers, we put the stretched samples into one set of crossed polarizers and as expected, the stretched PI films could reduce the light leakage at view angle of ±45 deg, and exhibited a visually observed compensating property of an A-plate. No color shift wasobserved, and the birefringence was very uniform. These results prove a uniform birefringence can be obtained by a stretched process for PI films.

Indica variety ZYQ8 is an important genetic resource resistant to rice blast disease in rice breeding in North China.in this study,resistance identification of the populations of F1,F2,DH and B1F1of the crosses of ZYQ8×Jingxi17 (JX17) and ZYQ8×Lijiangxintuanheigu was carried out by using a Chinese differential strainZH10-8-14 from North China and a Japanese differential strain Ken54-04 from Japan and the results demonstrated that ZYQ8 had one dominant major gene Pi-zh which had been reported by Zhu L.H., et al., The results from experiments in which the F2 populations of ZYQ8×nine different varieties with known resistant genes were inoculated with strain Ken54-04 indicated that the gene Pi-zh was a new gene and non-allelic to nine known gene loci,namely Pi-i,Pi-km,Pi-z,Pi-ta,Pi-ta2,Pi-zt,Pi-kp,Pi-b and Pi-t.
