Ve schizophrenic inpatients will be enrolled into the 6-week, randomized, double-blind trial of sarcosine monotherapy (1000~3000 mg/day, N=75) vs. risperidone (2~6 mg/d, N=75). We will measure clinical efficacy and side effects biweekly during the treatment.
