Upon learning of the destruction Typhoon Morakot brought to Taiwan, local volunteers not only held prayer services during the weekly Tzu Chi study group, but some of them also donated their coin banks to Morakot relief. Moreover, employees from a local company donated approximately 10 million kyats - or nearly 10,000 US dollars - to Tzu Chi, to help the flood survivors.
