A comprehensive survey of minerals in pollen of nectariferous plants was performed in this study.The contents of 14 mineral elements such as Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn and Se etc. in the pollen of 14 kinds of nectariferous plants: Cucumis melo L., Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn, Citrus sinensis Osbesk, Prunus armeniaca L., Rosa xanthina Lindi., etc, were detected for the first time by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, ultraviolet spectrophotometry and fluorescence spectrophotometry.

The experiment use cucumber as materials, There were two stubble cultivation includingspring stubble and autumn stubble. Three temperature environmentwere setted upby opening back slope ,back wall and front ventilation mouth or cover of many layers ortemporary hightened temperature. Jinchun 3 was used in spring stubble and Jinyou 1 was used inautumn stubble. Pumpkin ( Cucurbita moschata Duch.)'No.1 Shengzhen'was used as rootstock for melon ( Cucumis melo L.)'Yumeiren'in this experiment, and the own-root plant was used as control. The results showed that the root active absorption capability of grafted melon plants with pumpkin stock increased. The quantity of xylem sap of grafted melon was more than own-root. The absorption capabilities of nitrogen and potassium were higher, but lower for phosphorus than the control.
