Two improvements measurements pointed to the errors to calculating b values have been proposed:(1) to adopt the uniform absolute magnitude scale, seismic moment magnitude M,(2) to discard the magnitude points for which the earthquakes absent and lose, and then to compute the b value using least square method to fit the data.

Vibrio cholerae adherence to and colonization in the small intestine are essential step in the pathogenesis of cholera. At least one type of pili, known as TcpA, is required for the colonization process. This paper reports the electron microscopic evidence showing that V. cholerae 01 and 0139 serogroups can express at least 4 types of pili when incubated at 28℃ on AKI agar or CFA (pH6.8). Among the four types, three can be expressed by classical and El Tor strains of Vibrio cholerae 01: TcpA pili are peritrichous,being 7-8nm in diameter, 5-10μm in length, and form bundles of parallel undulating filaments of 0.5-0.8 μm wide and 10-15μm long; Type B are 3-4nm in diameter, up to 2μm long, and of wavy morphology; Type C are 7-8nm wide and 0.5-0.8μm long.

When the neuron is in maturity, we make the mechanical injury model in vitro. All the models were divided into four groups: group A is control group; group B is 100μM ATP group; group C is 100μM ATP+20μg/ml suramin group and group D is 100μM ATP+10μM ouabain+10μg/ml Thapsigargin group. Culture the four groups neurons, after one day, we count the motor neuron, observe the survival and activity of neurons through MTT shade selection experiment, use flow cytometry to analyze the percentage of apoptosis of motor neurons of anterior spinal cord and detect the expression of protein p-GSK-3β(ser9) through Western-Blot technology.

The main work of our research was to study the effects of the combination of enhanced UV-B radiation 0.35w·m~(-2 and Cadmium 1umol·L~(-1 on the growth, photosynthesis, elements absorption and relocation in mung bean seedlings at the initial stage of growth, and the involving mechanisms about the change of photosynthesis under the different treatments were studied also. It was shown that the heights root length, lateral root length, lateral root number, area of leaves, dry/fresh weight of the overground parts and underground part were all inhibited by the single factor and combinative factors.
