The density, electrical contact resistance and hardness of these two alloys were tested. The results show that Ag and rare earth oxide appear in Ag-Y and Ag-Ce alloy after internal oxidation. The distribution of oxide particles is inhomogeneous and seriously conglomerated in Ag-Y2O3 and Ag-CeO2 sintered bulk, but they are dispersed and uniform in Ag matrix after severe plastic deformation. The relative densities of wire materials are larger than 99% and the electrical contact resistances are low (＜2.2 μΩcm).

结果表明：Ag-Y和Ag-Ce合金粉末经内氧化处理后生成Ag和稀土氧化物2种物相；Ag-Y2O3和Ag-CeO2材料烧结坯中氧化物颗粒分布不均匀且团聚严重，但材料经过大变形加工后，氧化物颗粒细小，均匀地弥散分布在银基体上；最终产品丝材的相对密度均达到99%以上，电阻率较低(＜2.2 μΩcm)。

Heat treatment on the preparation,structure,electrovalence of silver,releasing speed of Ag ions and antibacterial property of obtained blocks were investigated.A ultraviolet-visible spectrum of Ag-carrying material treated at 600℃ indicates that there are plenty of Ag ions in Ag-carrying SiO 2 .The Ag ions can be released stably into water of 30℃ for 14 d.

A human promyelocytic leukemia cell mutant (HL-60-AR) with deficiency in HGPRT and resistance to 8-AG was established by treat〓nt of the HL-60 cells with MNNG and prescreened in 0.3% agar RPMI-1640 semisolid medium containing 8-AG. The mutant cells show the following characteristics:(1) resistant to cytotoxic action of 8-AG and growing vigorously in medium containing 20ug/ml 8-AG;(2) capable of forming 〓〓 colonies in soft agar medium in the presenee of 8-AG:(3) highly sensitive to HAT selective medium and fail to growing in HAT medium of form colonies in soft agar medium containing HAT;(4) completely deficinet in HGPRT activity; and (5) no radioactive silver grains over the mutant cells due to the absence of -hypoxanthine incorporation showed by radioautography.

The several kinds of Ag-NiFe2O4 cermets with different mass percent of Ag have prepared. Microstructural changes were observed by scanning electronic microscope and composition was determined with x-ray detector. Effect of different content of Ag on the density, property of thermal shock,conductivity and corrodent rate were tested. The results showed that the thermal shock performance and conductivity have improved in company with the addition of content of Ag.

Taking Au-Ag intergrowth compounds as an example this paper has reached the following conclusions. In the Au-Ag compounds of differem types of gold deposits as sequemially replaces Au, making up a continuous isomorphous series. The content of Au and Ag in native gold forms a regular pattern. The development of native gold and that of electrum have something to do with different types of gold deposits respectively. Abundances of trace elements in Au-Ag minerals are controlled by geological settings and geochemical fields. The above study provides new geological information and a new method for the study and exploration of gold deposits.

The effects of electroplated Ni layer and electroless plated Ni-P layer on the diffusion behavior in Sn-Ag/Cu solder joint were studied. The results by EPMA analysis showed that the electroless plated Ni-P layer acted as a good diffusion barrier between Sn-Ag solder and Cu substrate. However, the electroplated Ni layer can not hinder the inter-diffusion and reaction between molten Sn-Ag solder and Cu substrate when reflowing, and there was a layer of IMC (Cu6Sn5) at interface of Sn-Ag/C u solder joint.
