Go to the bank and the hardware store, put a new lock on the cellar door 去银行和五金店，换上新锁在地窖的门

I cross 'em off as I get 'em done but when the sun is set 我过时间了，因为我得到时间完成，但是当太阳被设置

There's still more than a few things left I haven't got to yet 还是有超过几件事留给我没有得到的又

   

Go for a walk, say a little prayer 去散步，一点点的祈祷

Take a deep breath of mountain air 利用山区空气深呼吸

Put on my glove and play some catch 把我的手套和玩一些抓

It's time that I make time for that 这时候，我腾出时间为

Wade the shore and cast a line 韦德岸边，投行

Look up a long lost friend of mine 查一查我的一个久违的朋友

Sit on the porch and give my girl a kiss 坐在门廊上，给我的女孩一个吻

Start livin', that's the next thing on my list 开始活着，这就是我的名单上的下一件事

   

Wouldn't change the course of fate but cuttin' the grass just had to wait 不会改变命运的课程，但cuttin 草只是不得不等待
